Question: What is the Chief End of man?
Answer: The Chief End of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
Westminster Shorter Catechism (1647)
At Hope Church, we love to worship together. We are not professional performers, but that’s not what God wants. He wants authentic love from the heart. That’s what Jesus taught in His Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7. As Jesus said to a woman who was seeking God, “the time is coming—it has, in fact, come—when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship.” (John 4:23, The Message).
We Welcome Visitors!
We would be glad to have you worship with us. We all come from a variety of ethnic, political, religious and social backgrounds, but the one thing that brings all of us to gather on Sunday mornings is our common desire to meet with God, to renew our relationship with Him, and be reminded of His love and mercy through His Son Jesus Christ. He is our precious Lord and we love to praise His glory, especially with other people who love Him too. If that describes you, or you want to know more about Him, then you are in the right place.
